DIVINATION
Divination
There are many forms of divination. My favorites are dreams and Tarot. The vast majority of
my predictions come from dreams. Sometimes the messages are immediate and straightforward,
but often the message is buried in a pile of symbolism that just doesn't make sense. This is
when I pick up the Tarot cards.

Tarot is, after all, a collection of symbols that can be interpreted. Unlike dreams, there are
traditional meanings to each card and while these meanings can and do change for each
question and person, they still have a system of logic that can be understood. Dreams are
frequently illogical and difficult to sort out.

Other forms of divination Pagans enjoy are Runes, Ogham sticks, scrying with mirror, water, or
crystal spheres, and pendulums. I don't have any experience with these forms myself, but I'd
love to hear from those of you who do.

All forms of divination require some degree of psychic ability. We are all capable of receving
psychic impressions, message, and visions, but most of us choose not too. Acquiring psychic
ability does takes some work in the form of meditation and psychic exercises, but the most
important skill you need is an open mind. If you simply Allow yourself to see and hear what
the universe is trying to say, you will be amazed by the results.
