May 31, 2007 The second Full Moon in a month is traditionally called a BLUE MOON. This is an event that occurs about every two years. This is a wonderful time for magick of all types, but especially for love, protection, wisdom, or divination. The Blue Moon energy is lasting and powerful. Spells cast at this time are said to last until the next Full Moon. Light a blue candle on your altar and call to the moon Goddess Selene, or any moon Goddess.
